Scott Vinton
Scott Vinton, founder and principal of Vinton Consulting, brings over 35 years of experience in civil engineering and infrastructure development. He is a proven leader in managing complex transportation, land development, and energy projects across public and private sectors.
Scott is known for delivering high-impact solutions through strategic planning, multi-disciplinary coordination, and stakeholder engagement. He is adept at guiding projects from concept to completion with precision, regulatory
compliance, and community-focused outcomes.
Scott served as Murrieta City Councilman (2018-2020) and Murrieta Mayor (2021) in California. As a
volunteer, he managed the Wine Inventory and served on the Board for Temecula Valley Balloon and
Wine Festival from 2006-2020, including three years as Chairman of the Board.
Scott is married to his wife of 25 years, Lisa Vinton, and they have blended their beautiful family of 5 children and 7 grandchildren (and counting). Together they enjoy traveling the US and internationally, spending time with family and friends, and relaxing in their new home in East Tennessee with their pup, Kiwi.
Lisa Vinton
Lisa Vinton is currently the Chief Operating Officer of Vinton Consulting. She brings over 30 years of business management experience to the firm. She has specialized in business development, administration and management for start-ups, small, medium and large corporations since the early 1990s. She earned her BS degree in Business Management and Administration along with an AA in Criminal Justice.
In addition to working alongside corporate leaders and staff, Lisa spent six years working in a non-sworn law enforcement role for the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office, Southwest division from 2015 to 2021. She has authored a book, appeared on a local news station as a Business News Reporter/Analyst, and co-hosted her own online radio talk show.
Lisa was awarded Citizen of the Year for Murrieta, CA in 2007 and Investigative Technician of the Year for Riverside County District Attorney’s Office in 2017. She has always been dedicated to community service, including founding and directing a non-profit pregnancy counseling center, managing a department for the Temecula Balloon and Wine Festival, sitting in a leadership role for Professional Women’s Roundtable, and being an active member of Rotary International.
Lisa and her husband, Scott, happily moved to Loudon, Tennessee in 2021 where they built their forever dream home overlooking the Tennessee River. She is the proud mother of 5 adult children and Oma to 7 grandchildren (with number 8 due in July 2026)! She enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and tasting new wines from around the world. She is especially excited to be a part of Vinton Consulting alongside her husband of 25 years!
